Refund Policy

Last updated: 12 September 2026

1. A one-time purchase, not a subscription

Access to the Result Decoder is a single, one-time payment of £15.99. You will not be charged again, and there is no recurring subscription to cancel.

2. Immediate access and your cancellation rights

Your access begins immediately once payment is complete. Under UK consumer law, you normally have a 14-day right to cancel a purchase made online. Where the applicable digital-content rules apply to Academic Decoder, immediate supply within that 14-day period requires your express consent and your acknowledgement that you will lose the right to cancel once supply begins — you will be asked for both, separately, before you complete payment.

This does not remove your other statutory rights. If the service is faulty, not as described, or does not otherwise meet legal requirements, you remain entitled to any remedies available to you under applicable consumer law, regardless of the immediate-access consent and acknowledgement above.

3. When a refund is available

We'll offer a refund where:

  • You were charged but access to the Result Decoder was not actually granted due to a technical fault on our end;
  • The service was materially not as described; or
  • You're otherwise entitled to a refund under UK consumer protection law.

We do not offer refunds simply because you've changed your mind after access has begun, in line with the immediate-access consent given at checkout — except where the law requires otherwise.

4. Statistical results you believe are incorrect

If you believe a generated result is wrong, this is a support issue rather than automatically a refund one — please contact us first with the values you entered and what your original statistical output showed, so we can investigate. Confirmed genuine errors will be corrected; see our Terms for how generated output should be verified against your original results.

5. How to request a refund

Email support@academicdecoder.com with your account email and the reason for your request. We'll look into it and get back to you.

6. Your statutory rights

Nothing in this policy limits or removes any statutory rights you have as a consumer under the law of the country where you live. Where this policy and your statutory rights differ, your statutory rights take priority.
